The High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) is the central United Nations platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The HLPF brings together ministerial and high-level representatives of governments, as well as a wide range of expertise and stakeholders, including heads of UN entities, academics and other experts, and representatives of major groups and other stakeholders. The Forum conducts regular in-depth reviews of progress on the Sustainable Development Goals and includes Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) that present the national reviews of progress towards the 2030 Agenda to encourage global collaboration, cooperation, coordination and compliance with the UN SDGs.
