The Circular Economy Supply Chain

This article explores how circular procurement of equipment adds value to all parties along the supply chain. The circular economy offers opportunities to manufacturers, dealers, resellers, authorized third-party refurbishment companies, service companies, and rental and leasing companies. Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) accounts for 8%-10% of the hotel project's total budget on average. Centralized installations – heating, venting and air conditioning system (HVAC), lighting and other mechanical systems – add between 10% and 20% to the total cost of new buildings.
