What does Mezzanine Borrower mean?

A special purpose vehicle (SPV) foreseen in LMA ICA for real estate transactions that owns the “Senior Shareholder” and set up and held entirely by the “Mezzanine Shareholder”, which is set up and owned entirely by the Investors, for structural separation of the Investors, the Mezzanine Shareholder and the Mezzanine Borrower from the Senior Shareholder, the Company and the Senior Borrowers.
